We only collect information necessary to operate your personal expense tracker:
- Account Credentials: Full name, verified email address, and encrypted password hash.
- Expense Records: Item descriptions, prices, quantities, payment modes (Cash, UPI, Card), dates, and category tags.
- Subscription & Payment Audits: Plan tier (FREE, PRO, MAX), validity period, and transaction verification identifiers from payment gateways.
2How We Use Your Information
Your recorded data is used exclusively to:
- Render your interactive 12-month expense charts, category donut breakdowns, and monthly hisaab reports.
- Authenticate your login sessions and prevent unauthorized access to your records.
- Enforce subscription storage quotas (1,000 for FREE, 100,000 for PRO, 100,000,000 for MAX).
- Send critical account security notices such as email verification and password resets.
3Data Storage & Third-Party Services
Your data is stored in Neon Serverless PostgreSQL with row-level tenant isolation. We utilize trusted infrastructure providers:
- Neon Database: Enterprise-grade encrypted relational database storage.
- Razorpay: Payment processing with RBI-compliant encryption. We do not store credit card or bank credentials on our servers.
- Google Gmail SMTP: Secure delivery of transactional verification emails.
4Policy Updates & Consent
Whenever we update this Privacy Policy (e.g., releasing new versions), you will be presented with a consent confirmation prompt on your next login to review and accept the updated terms.
